Shipolopolo in South Africa ahead of the Cameroon clash on March 5, 2020Posted by On


Lusaka, February 28th, 2020.ZANIS— Shipolopolo Coach Bruce Mwape says his team has set camp in South Africa in readiness for the March 5th first leg encounter with the indomitable lionesses of Cameroon in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic qualifier.

Mwape adds that the Shipolopolos were also in the rainbow nation to get football techniques from continental giants Banyana Banyana.

Mwape reveals that the technical bench has consequently arranged a friendly match with Janine Van Wyk Women Football team of Ransburg this weekend as part of preparations.

He states that the girls are fit and in high spirits ready to take on Cameroon.

Meanwhile, Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa Major General Jackson Miti has encouraged the team to produce good results and emerge victorious when the team takes on Cameroon on 5th March 2020.

The High Commissioner says he is impressed with the unity and hard work, which the team exhibited during their training sessions at University of Pretoria Fields.
